Post by Udderdude »

This isn't my project, and I'm not sure if it's been posted here yet, but it looks pretty cool.

Wow, not stupid at all. Pretty awesome actually. These would sell if made for mass production. Who wouldn't want one of these on the kitchen table? I would! How about making a plastic mini replica of a neo29 with sanwa stick? Or create one that runs on batteries for in the car when the bridge is open. wow! Or a mini new net city tated with Ibara pcb (it's small right?) Like that would not totally make your jaw open so wide.
COOL
+1
The name actually implies he made something like this with the guts of a neo pocket, but I'm not disapppointed at all. I wonder how good that stick is. seems reasonable.

EDIT: he apparantly already made these:

I wonder about that. I think you can play it on a table just like a regular joystick, with your elbows on the table. I want to create one

Hi, I´ve done this machine, the pc-engine and the megadrive (genesis 3) one.
That's pretty cool, but I don't see how any one could play on one of those things for more then 15 minutes. It's just too goddamn small...seems like a waste since I don't see it being used much.
The stick is very good and you can connect a neogeo pad for a second player. It has a rgb tv-out too in case you consider the screen is too small.

I´m busy restoring 2 arcade cabs so no more pocket arcades until they´re finished.

If you have more questions...
