Biology Battle - arena shmup - Xbox Community games

Found this little gem in the sea of Xbox Community games on Xbox Live.

It's an arena/multi-directional shmup like Geometry Wars and a million others by a newish developer out of Thailand called Novaleaf but it's really quite polished.

There are a few modes of play like global challenge (essentially challenging the online leaderboard) local and local co-op for up to 4 players. The pacing is a bit like Geo Wars 2 except there are more power-ups. What's cool about the power-ups is that they linger for quite awhile, so you can grab one when you need it, rather than pick it up right away and essentially waste it during a brief lull in intensity.

I was getting a bit sick of arena shmups but this one is really satisfying IMO. Anyone else try it?
