wii japanese imports on a usa system...?

wii japanese imports on a usa system...?

i recently saw two shmups at play-asia for the wii and am curious if i can use my gamecube freeloader to boot these....any assistance is, of course appreciated.

here we go again.
no you can't use the cube freeloader, you can't use the wii freeloader on firmware 3.3 and up.
however you CAN install the homebrewchannel and gecko os and it will work.

my personal recommendation would be to get a japanese system and don't bother about neither wii freeloader (which doesn't work with newer firmwares) or any other non endorsed methods.

which games are you keen on getting though? i seldom touch my wii at all, simply prefer 360/ps3 (or even ps2, which has a number of good shmups).

If he's talking about shmups, I'm going to assume MileStone Shooting Collection (Ultimate Shooting Collection) and Illvelo since Shikigami No Shiro III (Castle Shikigami 3) and Shinchuuka Taisen (Monkey King) are already available in the US.
