Whoa...
Whoa...
Gee, this place looks pretty different now, eh? Haven't been here for a while, but it's good to see a few familiar faces still around!
Anyhow, I have a few scores to settle (probably the other way around, actually). Are Kiken, Cecil McWoot, and NoCNTNU still here? If you guys are reading this, please PM me!

Re: Whoa...
Yeah, Gamespy blew up the old forums and all attempts so far at restoring backups haven't been successful. So we got a new host and here we are.matt wrote:Gee, this place looks pretty different now, eh? Haven't been here for a while, but it's good to see a few familiar faces still around!
Kiken and Cecil are at least.matt wrote:Anyhow, I have a few scores to settle (probably the other way around, actually). Are Kiken, Cecil McWoot, and NoCNTNU still here? If you guys are reading this, please PM me!
And welcome back.

Dude, Matt's back.

No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Welcome back
I'm less of an idiot than when you were last here ^_^
Send a PM if you're still making RGB cables...need PC, Saturn, PS2 to commodore 1084 cables. Ones that don't look like crap, unlike the ones I made! You'd laugh if you saw the Saturn one, seriously. Wires hanging out all over the place and the audio bits taped to a y-splitter...it'll break any day now

Me too, Link's Awakening is probably my all time favorite game. I've played that shit so many times, lost count. I'd estimate maybe 30 or more times.Turrican wrote:P.S. @Zach Keene, I love your avatar/location *_*
But back to more important matters: Yay, Matt! Everyone is returning to the flock, and all shall be good. Hoozah.
Mr Matt Esquire
Welcome Back matt!
I know you live in that beautiful place, but I'm curious as to where you hail from?

Hey, thanks guys
. I've been totally out of shooting for pretty much the past year - too many other things to keep me busy. But Wanderer and GaijinPunch held a bit of a "Shmupmeet" last weekend - a good reminder of how fun shooters were!
Don't expect too much board involvement from me, though. I don't have much time to play shooters any more, and work/school/other interests occasionally take over my life.
Neon, Brian, and whoever else - if you guys want cables, just PM or e-mail me and i can probably do them. If you need system mods or something else that's complicated, it's debatable whether I'll have time to do it or not (but you can at least ask). No more PS2 mods for the time being, though.
Stormowl - Diving is especially good at this time of year, because the changing weather does wacky stuff and opens up parts of the island that are normally undivable (but awesome). UH's final exams were thoughtfully scheduled to take place exactly now.
Landshark - I'm not messing anything up! You guys need to work harder
Del - I used to live in Canada
Neorichie - Yep, last time I ordered stuff from Hong Kong, the PS2 ones were purple (but they still work the same). Next time I think I'll try a different company.

Welcome back, Matt! Stick around longer this time, huh? For old times sake, the supergun you made me 4 years ago is still alive and doing very well. I just need to buy a new monitor as the good old amiga tube burned out on me. Oh yeah, and the modded Nomad and the modded Saturn you fixed for me are still kickin' too of course.
I may have you mod me a Genny this summer if ya ever have time between soaking up that awesome little paradise down there. A bunch of friends just got back from Maui and they loved it, one huge plus for them was there were no mosquitos even.
EDIT:
lol
j/k

EDIT:
OK, just now I swapped out the RGB cable and the monitor seems to be back to normal. The crazy thing is I'd already swapped the cable before. Either I was doing something wrong a few months ago when I first swapped the cable or your return to the forum has revived my RGB monitor!!!I just need to buy a new monitor as the good old amiga tube burned out on me.
