But, the most interesting part...

So...

I'm broke and I definitely don't plan on buying this. The only Valve game I have is HL2. But I've been interested in playing Portal and perhaps HL2 Episodes 1 & 2.

So if there is anybody getting this & ending up with duplicate copies of games, you can always donate to me :D My steam account name is "indstr"

This is a great deal if you don't have a lot of Valve games. They are my favorite game developer out there, every single one of their games is pure awesome.

Also, the original Half-Life is 98 cents, until Friday. If you don't own it, there is NO reason not to pick it up. Keep in mind the multiplayer is still active to this day with tons of amazing mods (Specialists, Natural Selection, ESF, etc.)
