Good place to learn Japanese in NY *Join Me!*
Ah yes, I'm taking Japanese classes during the Summer. I'm 100% sure and ready about this and even convinced a friend to go with me. However, I still need to find a good and cheap place to learn. Any suggestions?

Hahaha, interestingly, I could read enough French to get by shmup.com.
But I started learning French in elementary school and through high school (although that was mostly review).
I doubt Japanese is something you'd be able to learn in a summer though, unless it's ultra intensive and you're forced to read 5 hours a day outside of class time, and even that might only get you some basics...
Anyway, since your mind's already made up, good luck!

^ Who said I plan to become fluent in Japanese in a summer? All I want is get the foundation, so I can then move on to learning a little by myself. I'll do it again the next summer too and see how far I can get. I eventually want to go vacationing to Japan.
I think I can get decent at least since I learned English mostly by myself. Of course, being in the USA helps learning much faster 'cause I practice everyday.

Just to let everyone know, I already enrolled for Japanese summer course. Here's the courses' info:

It's located in Manhattan. I hope anyone can join me; I'm in class Japanese 1-C (37 hours course. Meets twice a week).
