Question about Japan's Virtual Console

Post by evil_ash_xero »

I'm wanting to download Metal Slug 2, which is supposed to come on tomorrow in Japan.

I know that it's 10:30 PM there now...my question is what time do they put new games up?

I don't even know what time Nintendo put games up here. :(

Why don't you just get one of the Metal Slug compilations? Didn't SNK release Metal Slug X because 2 was really flawed? Something like that.

I had a Metal Slug compilation for PS2, but found there to be a lot of controller lag. Couldn't stand it.

I have 2 and X on PC(retail version and MAME), but i'd like to play them on the tube.

Yeah, 2 had a lots o' slowdown. But i'll deal with it, since it'll probably take eons for X to ever come out on VC, if it ever does.

You can overclock MAME to get rid of the slowdown.

I still like X better, though 2's first stage kicks its ass.
