McCain's own terrorist and fake plumber connections

Post by Ed Oscuro »

Well, debate over - McCain sucked, more if you watched the reaction shots which had him going insane. Pretty funny actually.

He did roll out the silly Ayers charge (oh noz), as promised, and I was somewhat surprised that Obama didn't mention the Keating Five.

Perhaps that all pales in comparison to what McCain has done, though:

http://www.slate.com/id/2202183?nav=wp

From the article:
On July 20, while campaigning for McCain in Miami and just prior to speaking at a McCain event, Sen. Joe Lieberman met with the wife of convicted serial bomber Eduardo Arocena and promised to pursue a presidential pardon on his behalf.
Arocena is not only an attempted murderer, but an actual one.

Obviously we need to be palling around with these people more.

p.s. Be sure to check out that Israeli-sponsored anti-Obama DVD full of lies, you 28 million people who got them in your papers @_@

Bush Junior: "If you harbor a terrorist, that make you a terrorist."
Bryan M: "Whaat? What about that plane-exploding man we're all harboring? I don't want to be a terrorist, Mr. President!"

I guess he meant it's only terrorism when it's American children who get murdered.

At this point, Obama doesn't want to broach anything negative. The more McCain attacks without Obama taking the bait, the more desperate McCain looks.
This is not similation. Get ready to destoroy the enemy. Target for the weak points of f**kin' machine. Do your best you have ever done.

Quite so. In any case it's simply too late for Obama to break character, although there were spots where it would've pleased the audience if he had sharpened some of his responses. I completely agree that Keating Five would have vindicated McCain's divisive mode of operating, though.

From the highlights I saw, McCain seemed a bit frustrated at times. My personal opinion on the whole, "I want Joe to buy the insurance he seems fit for his employees" is that, having worked for a similar small business, Joe will most likely fuck his employees, giving them the crapiest package he can. If he doesn't, the next guy will. Too bad the candidates can't come out and say, "You know, time and time again people have proven they are fucking idiots... that's why health care must be mandatory, and forced down the people's throats".

Does McCain want employer-based coverage at all? His whole "tax credit" concept suggests that he wants individuals/families buying their own health insurance. The problem with this is that individual plans almost invariably suck hard because buyers have no real bargaining power and can be rejected/messed with on a case-by-case basis without losing anyone else's premiums.

And just in case you haven't seen it:

I loved the question about Palin being qualified. Obama was like 'Oh shit, what do I say?'

"She has, I think, excited the base in the Republican Party and I think it's very commendable [...]"

She has invigorated the base in the Democratic Party even more.

Also, I saw some guy who runs one of these nonpartisan ANTI-INCORRECT STATEMENTS websights and he was saying that "NO Palin did not censor libraries" gee she only indicated that she thought it was appropriate to do so (also she singlehandedly shut down a museum because they were palin around with liberals, terrorists, there)

October surprise?

I was suspicious about that guy - not that plumbers can't be well-spoken, but he seemed to have something outside of plumbing in mind. Oh, and his name is Sam.

That was his argument when they were debating the case of "Joe, who has worked hard his whole life to own his own business."

Well yeah, US has been good to the exiled Cuban ruling class in Miami since ever, I assumed you were saying something about 9/11 INSIDE JOB and we could have one of those funny threads again.
