How good is this PSP Macross Ace Frontier?

Another Macross game for handhelds this time around, particular the PSP. My question is this:

How good is the gameplay/game mechanics of this Macross Ace Frontier? Is it better than that of the PSX games of Macross VFX Digitial Mission or Macross VFX-2?
