Quick question on Guwange

Post by BryanM »

The endboss. After you kill the little girl in her barrier, her spirit goes into super pissed mode, you kill it, yadda yadda..

I've been trying to kill the spirit without taking the girl out, but always time out the fight whenever I try this. Does anything special happen if you do this (differing ending?) or does it just let you bypass the final boss form?

I don't understand what you mean, targetting the spirit in the fight against the spirit + girl damages the whole entity's life bar. When it reaches a certain point, the girl will die, regardless of whether you're targetting her or the spirit.

Oi I'm definitely the one on crack here. I could have sworn I had seen her croak at wildly different points (>40% life, <30%).

Thanks for saving X hours of my life..

I have my own quick question.

How do you tate the XBLA version? I can only find an option to flip the menu, not the game screen.

I only played the demo ages ago, but I am fairly sure their is a somewhat weird rotation option under screen settings.

Go to Settings → System Settings and switch Wide Mode to OFF;
Go back to Screen Settings → desired game mode → Extra Display → Preset 5 and push button A;
Go to Game Window, push button A again and adjust the zoom as you wish (the ideal setting for my TV was 1,76).

The same setting can be used in any other game mode just by selecting Preset 5 in Extra Display.
