Name the game (please help)

Hello everybody,

I am a first poster here, and I would like to ask you experts a question.
Several years ago I remember seeing a shoot'em up in an arcade and I have never been able to find out its name.
I will try to describe as much as I can about it.

- 2d
- horizontal scrolling
- at least two level of parallax scrolling
- the quality of the graphics was 1990s rather than 1980s
- the most distinctive item I remember of one of the levels was a big moon static in the top left corner of the lowest level of the background, and it was animated with several frames of animation that made it look rotating in 3d.
In the same level the sky (background) was shades of pink to light blue, and in the foreground there were some platforms with water falling from the top of the screen onto them and from one to another; when you passed under one of these waterfalls with your ship the water would temporarily stop if I remember correctly.

Guys, I have searched this game for too many years, please help me find it!!

Yeah that does sound like Xexex.
The level with the moon & waterfalls-platforms was level 4 I think.
