I used to like that game until I bought the PCB. It has so many bugs that it makes Cave games look like perfect piece of programming.

No, you'll have to use MAME.

Turbo Force is almost as crappy (but awesome) as Eight Forces.

Is it just me, or is anybody else expecting a final boss?

I've never gotten anywhere near the final boss, so maybe it's engine sludge like the Castrol GTX commercials. That would count as unexpected.

Hey, that's mine! Quite literally, in fact.

When the arcadeflyers.com guy was selling off his old stuff I grabbed quite a few flyers, including Turbo Force. The flyer just oozes awesomeness.

Thank God - a post by Macaw.

That flyer is bloody incredible, and does its job for me, as it's tricked my brain into thinking that whatever anybody says, Turbo Force can only be amazing.

A load of crusties living in trees on a road-construction protest site would be fun...

I recall Turbo Force made a appearance at my Regency Game Palace arcade back in 1991-1992. The cabinet was tricked out with three Happ joysticks and the usual buttons for each respective player. Turbo Force has also appeared under the name of "Hyper Force" as well for the USA market due to name copyright infringement. The final end-stage boss is a...you'll have to discover it for yourself -- give it a spin on Mame or Mame32 and see what the Turbo Force arcade flyer hypes up this mysterious "final" boss. Typical of the pre-Psikyo type of graphics and gameplay back in the early 1990's. ^_~

Turbo Force/Hyper Force was innovative for it's usage of auto-fire given to the player from the get-go when it first made it's debut worldwide back in 1991.

*whispers* Laseroid. *whispers*

Developed by someone in this forum, dunno how well it fares in 3-player mode but it worked nice for me in single player and it even has TATE mode.

And 100% agreed, we need more flying cars with machineguns. Or machinguns that have flying cars. Or giant whales with guns and lasers. Or at least let me pilot the Stone-Like.

edit: I just remembered Jets 'N' Guns has a flying space limousine and a giant german sausage bandwagon.
