A question that is gonna sound sexist

Post by evil_ash_xero »

Are relationships with the modern woman a pointless and temporary thing? And no I don't mean ALL women, just the vast majority of modern women in the US and Europe.

I'm alluding to nothing in particular, although obviously I do have opinions on the subject.

Well?

I know of some guys who have multiple gfs. Even if they have the time and money to spend like no tomorrow, then that's their business. That is asking for some serious "shit to hit the fan" if you were to ask me. They'll just suck 'em dry down below the beltline and monetary-wise as well. ^_~

What's a "modern woman?" How does she differ from other girls?

That was my first though, too. I have the feeling you´re implying something here.

So far I´m quite happy with my modern woman :)

Probably no less temporary and pointless than relationships with most "modern" men, I'd reckon.

It's like one of those "test your strength" games like Sonic Blastman - spend a bit of money, hit it like the fist of an angry god, then walk away with a grin on your face.
Yes, that was a tongue-in-cheek sex-themed comment, not a violence-related one. Don't get your knickers in a twist, people.

Modern woman...uh, today's women. Typical woman of today. You get the picture.

I just know a lot of guys who date women, and they all tend to get two-timed and money sucked out of them. Sometimes they get married and have a kid and the woman leaves him later for some other guy.

They seem to be hard to keep, and hard to please for long periods of time.

I have a lot of female friends, and it's the same thing with them too. Perhaps I just don't know enough "good" women to have a more positive view.

I just wondered if anyone here had long positive relationships with younger women(35 or younger) that could be influential on my point of view.

The fact that you even have to ask this question makes me think that you have a very unhealthy view of women.

Just seems like they've surpassed men a bit recently. We used to be the bedhopping bastards, and now they tend to be even more so.

I'm telling you, it's girls gone wild.

50% of marriages fail and beyond those a lot of people stay together when they really shouldn't. Those are long fuckin' odds. I know people who are married and pretty happy, but you should be cognizant of the risks.

Most of the people I know who are married and happy are intelligent, physically fit, and mentally stable. It's the classic thing of 'you have to love yourself before you love someone else.' If you're not those three things, it's something you need to address before you go looking for a relationship. I sound like I'm on an episode of Oprah or something but yknow, people say it because it's true.
I just know a lot of guys who date women, and they all tend to get two-timed and money sucked out of them.
Sounds like the guy(s) in this situation is/are emotionally needy and try to buy her approval with presents as they lack personality or other redeeming qualities. She eventually gets annoyed with them, loses sexual attraction, and cheats on them and/or dumps them. I'd put the fault with the guy if this is the case, not the girl.
Sometimes they get married and have a kid and the woman leaves him later for some other guy.
I'd say the girl is pretty much a complete fuck-stick if she values her own satisfaction over her child's well being. Why marry someone like that? But I mean at the same time if the guy's beating her then she should very well leave, yeah. What happened here? Did he get fat? Anyway, I wouldn't chalk this up to being a 'modern' woman, just (potentially) a big bag of douche.

Well he's openly professing ignorance and looking for reasons, don't make him feel uncomfortable because of that. Better he do this than keep having a negative view of women. Good move on trying to learn rather than being convinced of the correctness of your own worldview at all times, evil ash.

Oh, because I don't have much knowledge of women from other places and didn't want to stick them all in the same category.

I met a girl from Colombia who basically mind raped her man on a daily basis and cheated on him non-stop, but I have heard from others that Latin women are more loyal and value marriage more than U.S. women. Of course, this could be a bunch of shit.

So, I don't really know. I know that Japanese women get portrayed as docile, or whatever, but that's garbage. So I don't know about women from the world over.

I think that he already knows what the situation is. This is not the sort of thing you just convince someone of on a forum post... It's like seeking reassurance or something. Also, please don't imply I am trying to make him feel uncomfortable, my post was just as useful as any other (telling him that no, not all 'modern relationships' are pointless/temporary) :P

I asked a girl if she had a dildo and "if" she would penetrate my ass witha it. She said yes, but then when I went back to hers, there was no dildo, only lube.

Was I "fucked" over by some hoe?

I'm not kidding BTW. No penetration that night :(

From Latin America. That's what they call themselves, so I thought I would too. Mexico and down.
