PS I have a question for you Fudoh - upscaling quality-wise, would it score higher in your ranking, than, say xrgb2/2+/3 ? I'm particularly interested in using one of those cards with my consoles and supergun.
I'll have my XRGB2+ vs. 3 comparison up this weekend or early next week. For 240p games they are pratically the same. You have benefits for 480i games on the XRGB3 though.
I know what you mean, but since the card can be worked in pure overlay, it's no problem at all. All the processing is done on the card, your graphics has nothing to do but to show the menu from time to time... I've tried it
Maybe this depends on the capturing app you're using. If you use a software which captures from the VMR buffer of the graphics card, then it would done after processing, but as soon as you access the card directly with a standard capture software (i use iuVCR) it's always before the processing.
