2. Knew it. If Arika only had "Published and Distributed by Arika" in their previous CAVE games, then it was implied CAVE did everything.

no he did (Homeru) -> "saying good things" to Cave so now he wish they could continue on and port Ketsui :p
but again it's just his wish and kind of Joke.
Indeed. In fact, I don't see anywhere where it says that Cave is doing the Mushi port. He says they 'could do the best port' but that's about it. I didn't read the entire page though. As far as I can tell, Taito's doing the port, and Ketsui ain't getting released. I hope I'm wrong though.
Insert-credit: Arika's vice-president, K. Mihara, loves Cave and loves to speak about it in his blog. We love all this love, 'cause now we know thanks to it that a port of Cave's Ketsui ~Kizuna Jigokutachi~ from 2002, could be coming to PS2 soon. Notice this is just his wish/speculation, though.
I'm revising the thread title a bit too since someone has posted an extra thread on this.
I second that! I want a horizontal Cave game ported! And especially this one!
It just looks and plays fantastic and will make a welcome change form the manic verticals!
About Mushi rumours: glad to hear Cave is doing the port!
I was in the Ketsui high score thread and I was wondering...how do all those people play the game since it doesn't have a port? Do they have the actual big hardware that would be in an arcade?
Most of them have the pcb which is roughly the size of a notebook, jan, (maybe smaller? most of you guys with the pcb know) and they hook it up either to an actual arcade cabinet or a supergun (like a square game console) that just plugs into a monitor or tv.

Whoa. I was just looking at pics of PCBs and the Supergun. That's pretty awesome

Err... dig around... info is probably here. Everything up to that was on modified (sort of) PGM hardware. It was rumored that Mushi would probably be on different hardware due to the high price they were asking for it (it was a good $500-$600 more than ESPGaluda). Not sure if it was ever officially found out though.
