My experience on your chosen PCBs isn't authoritative, as I happened to have played the other Cave PCBs a lot more, but I've spent some time with ESPgaluda 2 and it's incredible. Really rewarding and more accesible for me than Ketsui was.
Not too disimilar in feel to Mushi either. Scoring and stuff are different of course, and even the system with the controls, but the 'atmosphere', if that's a fitting word, and the pace is pretty close..
Please don't savage me Cave elite! As I said I'm no authority...

also.... no need to rush in with the mega expensive titles if you are just starting to get into Cave stuff.....
There are loads of shit-hot games at the cheaper end too....
Consider;
-Galuda
-Ra.De
-DDP
-Ibara
All can be picked up for a fraction of what you listed above and all represent excellent challenge in their own right.....

cause if you dislike that one, you'd dislike number 2 even more.
if you prefer mushi and DDP (DOJ?) over ESPgaluda, you'd probably be better off with Ketsui.
that said, ESPgaluda 2 is a gorgeous masterpiece with the most ingeniously brilliant system in danmaku history if you ask me, i'd probably choose that one alone over those 3 others together.
Pink Sweets is great fun if you play for just that: fun. the system is pure alchemy though, unless someone figured it out recently. eretsua and i recently hypothesized that it might actually be a 2-player game. so far, our testing of that hypothesis has been inconclusive and awesome.

Re: Which should i buy?
Its pretty much all figured out now. The multiply mode after 5th extend was intentional (not a bug) giving you two options for 1CC: low rank approach or high rank approach, there is no middle ground. It was fun to figure out, but not really ment for those who want to "just blow stuff up". Maybe in 2 player that is more fun.glitch wrote: Pink Sweets is great fun if you play for just that: fun. the system is pure alchemy though, unless someone figured it out recently. eretsua and i recently hypothesized that it might actually be a 2-player game. so far, our testing of that hypothesis has been inconclusive and awesome.

since my head is full of it I'd definetly vote for ketsui, and i also think you will have most fun with it.
Why?
It has an interesting/easy to understand chain system, the patterns are as awesome as in no other game, the music is epic (as the whole game is), and the atmosphere (war, future) is just exciting.
@EOJ: PS will be definetly the wrong choice, since kinda noone has fun with it.
Its just too hard to have with it for a long time, and soon you reach a barrier that cannot be broken anymore.
