At last...the sun has set on Sony's F1 exclusivity after years of releases on only their platforms.
Codemasters is more than worthy of this license in my book...that and the fact that the home console F1 games will be based on the EGO engine (seen in the upcoming GRID). But mainly, I'm pleased that F1 games will once again be accessible to non-Sony console owners.
Great news all around. Codemasters is really becoming a a force to be reckoned with as far as racing games are concerned!

That's great news to hear about F1 racing being developed for other gaming console platforms...
The licensing deal must have been quite a lucurative one, indeed...all the better to share and spread the F-1 racing love around. ^_~
And will Codemasters include real-time deformation physics and damage to the F-1 racing cars? Playing at pure similation mode would only further increase the realism...just like how it is in real life.
Now only if Polyphony Digital implemented such real-time damage & deformation to their cars in the PS3 racing game demo of GT5: Prologue...can't have the best of both worlds, mmm? ^_~

Generally speaking, F1 cars don't deform. The parts around the cockpit usually just shatter and break apart due to all carbon fiber utilized in the construction. i agree. probably a common opinion amongst those who don't drive in the realz. personally, it's all about outrun2: blue skies, fast cars, and fit birds
