Paying for health from prostitutes and then beating your money back out of them. Really, just gratuitous violence overall. Openendedness and pretty graphics. I can't really say much for modern gameplay however...

The only thing I see right with modern gaming is networking. Getting multiple people into the same game to either beat the crap out of each other, or work together towards a common goal. Also allowing users to augment or create their own content for sharing. Little Big Planet, if it ever comes out, would be a good example.

Define modern in the game industry. It is kind of pointless to be taking examples from an undefined span of time and calling them modern.

No, this game is not Space Invaders.

GTA4 is seriously good. A lot of people here probably haven't played the game yet, but that's all right. There's a few glitches with street fighting and car physics take a fair bit of getting used to, but the game does what it does well.

I keep checking gamerankings each day to see if it's dropped under Ocarina of Time, hahaha.

I think that's my favorite part also. At least when you're playing with a good group of people, not a bunch of asshats. I also like that there's more online cooperative modes for games popping up, vs games are fun but I really prefer co op.

They had that in Dead or Alive series. In the options, the higher you set your age, the more they bounced :D

The y-value of the the breasts in the original DOA (or z-value, depending on your coordinate system) seemed to follow an almost perfect sine wave (with some decay, more like a sinc function). I'm no expert in breast physics but that is not accurate.

Sprite-based breasts are still better IMO.

There's hardly anything I can think of that deserves to be above Ocarina of Time, and the few I can think of are all other Zelda games. Certainly not GTA4.

Some blaspheming in this thread.

I sometimes wonder how much of people loving Ocarina is just nostalgia. Still an amazing game though, by far my favourite 3D Zelda game.

Also:

Link's Awakening > Ocarina of time

In every way.

The length of Zelda games wouldn't actually be a problem if there wasn't a whole lot of nothing in the filler parts. Therefore GTA4 wins, though not over Link's Awakening.

my god how great is link's awakening? it really is one of the best games ive ever played. I recall my friend getting the US version and me and him would play it for hours on end then when we thoguht we got to the end we were flung in to dark world.

I think you're thinking of Link to the Past? Links Awakening was on the Gameboy, and had no dark world as far as I can remember :P
