Here I am browsing eBay and lo behold, I come across this:

I do recall seeing an Atari 7800 ProSystem version of Klax for sale brand new and sealed for a mere $35.00 USD at the 2004 Classic Game Expo...
But a version of Klax for the Atari 5200 Super System console? That is major new Klax news to me... ^_~
At least the NES Tengen version of Klax has BGM tunes to jam during a serious Klax gaming session to that were done by LX Rudis aka Bugusik...
Lol, why would anyone want to spend over a hundred bucks to play 5200 ver. of Klax when such an original arcade Klax PCB can be had for a mere $35.00 or so? That is considered the definitive version to play, indeed...
There was a guy selling a mini caberet Klax arcade cab on eBay with an $150.00 USD starting price but withdrew it due to no bidders:

Yeah, I've played on both the full-sized Klax upright and the rarer mini caberet Klax cab...they are both ace! ^_~
The 411 on both Klax cabinet setups -- both used a digital 4-way joystick setup from the get-go. So by using such an 8-way digital joystick, it's possible to throw back some of your tiles on to the conveyor belt that you're holding while moving the tile catcher back and forth if the joystick is moved in upper right or upper left diagonal positions. That is asking for a quick way to ruin such a serious gaming session of Klax if it isn't quickly fixed...
PC Engine Fan X! ^_~

Re: An Atari 5200 version of Klax -- WTF?!
I can understand the fascination with porting a game down to one of the classic systems, but $100+? No way. I doubt the TG-16 Klax goes for even half that.
The TG-16 (so good, the arcade version doesn't look that much better than this one) and PCB versions can get tons of tiles flipping down the belt in later stages. I think the 5200 would have trouble handling that many sprites.

Kinect? KIN NOT.
