Alien Syndrome! =D

Post by CecilMcW00t »

This game is really awesome. I never got to play the Arcade or NES versions but I recently got the remake included in the Sega Classics Collection. I've been playing it and Outrun the most. At first I didn't like it very much, but after I unlocked Retro difficulty I am having way more fun with it. It just seems more balanced with the enemies taking one hit and bosses HP being trimmed down a lil.

But now I'm curious about getting one of the older ports as well. Is the NES one pretty good? The screens of it look pretty neat.

And how good are some of you at this game if you're playing it? I can one life to the 2nd stage boss so far on Retro. When I get back home I'm gonna play it some more.

The SMS version was pretty frustrating.

I think the NES version put the SMS one to shame. However, I recommend the Game Gear one. It's awesome even when short.

I remember the master system version sucking, the nes one roxing (hooray, one less reason to get a master system).

This game really should have had a Genesis port though. I recommend mame/pcb

Haven't played the ps2 one yet.

I really enjoy playing this game in Mame. It's always been a fun game. Even in the arcades.
