Jaleco Table Pony (cocktail)

Post by Battlesmurf »

Hello!

I was wondering if anybody had info on these kinds of cocktails? I am trying to finish restoring one- and I want some more info before I go gutting stuff.

I have no information but post pics of the Table Pony please, they are awesome looking cocktail cabs. I've only seen a few pics of a battered dusty one on Yahoo Japan and of course the flying bullet spitting ones on the first stage of The Game Paradise

lol..you wouldn't happen to have the link for that one, would you?

Basically- 25' japan doesn't mean that here (USA), and trying to find a bezel sucks, too...

This resto is gonna suck in the beginning.

Groovy- thanks for the pics/flyers : )

I've ran into 2 potential issues. 1 is silly, the other I'm still trying to figure out what to do. Basically- the top(glass) has that grey border painted on to the backside. The top is scratched to all shit, though. I' was going to just get a whole new glass top- but it really wouldn't look so hot. Is there a way to polish the glass to take away all the scratches?

and the silly issue: It's a 25'' monitor. Has a hantarex 25'' polo in it. What size in America would this be? I'm going to have to make a good bezel solution, too depending on what I can get to fit in there :)

My Pony Mk2 had those same bat tops. I always thought that they were installed by the arcade op. Guess not.

Why not? Glass is glass. For the grey border, put some masking tape and paper over it, and give the edges a coat of spray paint.

I've herd of something called Novex, and there are plenty of scratch removal systems from glass on the internet (although expensive).

Its the same size as in the US, only the monitor frame is specific to japanese mounting specs, the tube itself (tube mounting points) are the same.

Panel arts very like the Mk. II. Always loved those cabinets since I saw them in The Trocadero. They're so 80's looking. Nice viewing angle too.

I decided to necrobump this thread since i got one of these last weekend.

Are there any new owners here who could share some info? I would really love to know more about this rare cocktail.

Cheers
