Assault Armoroid Angelio on WinXP SP-2 English

Hello,
I installed an image of:

Assault Armoroid Angelio: The Methuselah's Chronicle #1 (Japanese 2D Shooter)

But when I run the executable, an error message in some weird messed up text comes up and goes no further.

I suspect that the game is intended to work for the Japanese version of WinXP.
I'm using WinXP PRO SP-2 English.

How do I get around this problem?
If install Japanese language pack, will it work?
Or will I need to install a complete Japanese version of WinXP?

I can run this fine with the Japanese language pack installed.

If that doesn't work, use applocale along with that.

OK so, I installed the Japanese Language pack in WinXp PRO and also used the Microsoft AppLocale tool.
But this is what comes up when I tried Assault Armoroid Angelio.





Can anybody translate the options that you check in the title screen, as well as the error message?!
A tried all combinations but with no luck.

Any help will be highly appreciated!
