plz identify this shooter
I had a glimpse of this arcade shooter and would like to know what it's called. I'll try to describe it: the most distinctive feature is that it is meant as a vertical shooter, that is you fly "up", but the screen is actually horizontal, meaning the playfield is more wide than tall (like in Radiant Silvergun, only that it's *not* Radiant Silvergun). Topic is the standard spacefighter theme (although there might be some planetary levels too). There is a kind of "lock on" feature. The graphics are 3D but definitely not the newest kind of, the game is obviouslu several years old. if someone recognizes it it would be nice to tell me the name of that game. thanks a lot.

Sounds like the Sega ST-V game of Soukygurentai running on the ST-V motherboard setup which was presented in yoko (horizontal screen) format but plays like a vertical side-scrolling one (i.e. -- the Capcom CPS2 version of Mars Matrix plays and presented in yoko format as well)...
