Saturn av socket

hello there just wondered my av socket is all chewed and looks a bit battered, i got a Jap Saturn today but the av cable wouldnt fit, think he sent the wrong one. If the new one doesnt fit is ther any way of replacing the old socket

It's a standard socket (forgot the name) so you should be fine w/ another cable. If not, you'll need to do some tinkering.

what like? does the saturn lead have more than 3 pins because the one i have only has 3 pins yet it looks like it should go in no probs

Hi,

Which Saturn needs to have the A/V port replaced? The Saturn connector is a bit odd since it's a 10 pin mini-DIN type which is hard to find if at all.

If you have an RCA style Saturn lead it should usually only have 3 pins connected for composite video, Left Audio, and Right Audio. I have one of these myself.

You can also find Saturn leads with all the necessary pins like the one in my RGB cable. Some may or may not have all the pins connected though.

cheers for that pic m8, that is really helpful (based on that picture, the cable i have must be for another console)

great weight off my mind, thought the socket may be dodgy

The one you have may be for the Genesis/Megadrive as the shape is similar

No tried it, not sure what its from, the seller said could be from his PC-FX
