any freeware bullet hell game or one that costs money to buy for pc?
Cos the only console i have is wii. Im not a huge cheapskate but just dont wanna buy another console. I really want to give that genre of shmup a go. I have watched alot of videos of them and i am incredibly fascinated.

Furthermore, MAME roms of arcade games are easy to find. Stuff like DoDonPachi and Progear are pretty bullet hell
My personal favorite Bullet Hell series on the PC are the Touhou games, which cost money (unless you download them).

Cho Ren Sha 68K is pretty awesome.
I also happen to love this NTSC-uk feature on shmups. Lots of interesting information on the homebrew/doujin scene.
