I was going to post something smart assed like:
see search feature,
but Trizeal + slowdown returned a bunch of not very detailed replies.
My reply won't be much more detailed, but here it is:
Trizeal on PS2 plays just fine.
I scoffed at the likelyhood of major slowdown in the asteroid section of PS2 Trizeal (where the screen is just filled with boulders), and someone wrote in response that it actually runs smoother in that section than on Dreamcast. IIRC the end of that conversation suggested that some parts have slowdown on Dreamcast and not on PS2 and vice-versa.
Overall the PS2 rev is the best bet, since it includes some extras, like Lifting Mode.
I also actually believe some sound effects come through clearer on my PS2 than on my Dreamcast but that might just be my A/V set-up.

i'd not worry about it, trizeal is still crappy with or without slowdown.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

This thread should answer a few of your questions. If you still want to know something more specific, feel free to ask.

both on the ps2 and the dc the game has slowdown though in different places and in varying degrees. like mentioned before both play fine though the ps2 version, with the included extras like the shooting skill proficiency test mini game, is probably the superior package. however the dc version supports 480p through the vga box which makes it look better than the ps2 version (hooked up through component to a x-rgb2+ to the same vga monitor).
i find the ps2 version, with it's slightly more 'overall' slowdown, somewhat easier to play.
anyway, i find trizeal to be fun & enjoyable game to play. sure it may it may look crude but it certainly has a charm to it.

warning: a huge warning sign is approaching fast!
