Which non-shmup console games have TATE?

Post by D »

Any Pacman versions anybody knows of?
This is in addition to the Pinball TATE topic.

As far as I know there is Mercs (sega Saturn/PS), but that is a bit shmuppy.

The namco collections for the PS might have some tate games.

Anybody have any additions and/or state which games in the collections have full-screen TATE and/or non-full-screen TATE?

Namco Museum Vol.5 has Tate for Dragon Spirit and Pac-Mania, but if I remember rightly, you have to flip your TV/monitor the other way to normal (clockwise instead of counter clockwise). I don't remember there being an option to have the screen flipped the other way.

Qix 2000 (Superlite series) has the same problem as well.

All the games on Capcom Generation Vol.4 have a Tate option.

Yes, but MErcs is THE ONLY game out of all volumes 1-5 which has a full screen TATE MODE, theo other games have top and bottom borders!

A few of the games on Namco Museum 2 and 3 PSX have tate, including Super Pac-Man. I think the screen is the wrong way, though.
