Heaven knows if one could ever manage a decently complete list of them...and that's without considering what "counts" as a puzzle game, as there are plenty of hybrids out there.
Agreed. It's crazy how many of these are out there. Especially the innumerable ochige.
..and that Ghouls n' Ghosts (Arthur to Astaroth something or other...) puzzler on both
I think the full name is Arthur to Astarot (Asutorotto) no Nazotoki Makai Mura. It's a version of The Incredible Machine but using the characters from the Makai Mura / Ghosts n' Goblins series. No, really. I have no idea how they happened upon that idea, but that's what it is. It's a moderately rare game that usually goes for 4000 yen or so (well, it went for that 2 years ago), but I haven't looked at what the prices would be to get it overseas.
I know there's Cleopatra's Fortune for the Saturn, but the price of admission is not worth it. Columns collection for the Saturn I think having the first Columns game for the Genesis is good enough.
They released it for the PS1 in the US, and it was a bargain release at like $10 or something. The game is actually really good, I highly recommend getting it and getting into a 2-player battle with someone. Tons of fun. Yes, the JP Saturn (and DC) releases are waaaay overpriced. Actually, rather than getting the PS1 release (which is probably hard to find anyways) that you get Taito Classics 2 for the PS2. It's $20, easy to find, and has tons of great stuff, including that game. One of the best arcade compilations released here.
