About:
Planetfall Guardian is a new side scrolling SHMUP in development by the Red Dawn Studio team. In this demo, you will be able to access the almost complete arcade mode of the game, where the objective is to stay alive for as long as possible and take down waves of enemy fighters by dodging their lasers and missiles and using powerups to your advantage. We hope to eventually introduce a story campaign which will be based around the Planetfall Universe, including boss battles, more varied enemies (I would like to make new sprite for them too), more powerups and loads more.
Controls:
F1 - Game Information Screen
F4 - Display Resolution (Windowed/Full)
Arrow Keys - Ship Movement
Spacebar - Fire Weapons
Z - Use Nova Bomb Powerup
Tips:
- Collect square blips that drop from defeated enemy ships to gain bonus points.
- Always try to collect powerups if they appear on the screen, as they help a lot.
- If you are being chased around by homing missiles, try to loop round them and shoot them down from below.
