The Cave market thread (auctions, pricing, collecting, etc.)

Post by EOJ »

Okay, I've opened this thread for people to post links to Cave auctions and general Cave price updates from various distributors and private sellers. This will take the place of zak's old for sale thread in the trading forum, which has been masquerading as a thread like this for months now.

Post any thing related to Cave auctions, pricing, collecting, etc in here.

Yeah, I wasn't totally sure where to put this. Here, the Trading Forum, or Off Topic. No one here is actually selling anything in this thread, so I thought it should stay out of the Trading Forum, and Cave makes shooters so I didn't think it was Off Topic.

Even though there's little else I'm after in the collecting sense, I think a general pricing thread is probably a wiser decision. There are plenty of people that pay sick amounts for full kits of lesser known developers.

No one here is selling something, but the guy on the auction page is, therefore... yeah, it should go into the Trading section.

Threads/guides like this are a VERY VERY bad idea, because they make prices go up. Just look at neo-geo.com.

Seller doesn't know what game sells for, googles for priceguide, sets high auction starting price/BIN price accordingly.

If you don't want actively jack up prices any more than they already are, you should NOT compile such a guide.

Really, just let it be.

Mods, please lock this thread. I've opened a new one in the trading forum. Thank you!
