Help with SSF or any other Saturn Emulator

Post by evil_ash_xero »

I have been trying to get a Saturn emulator up and running on the PC, but I keep having problems with them.

Cassini ran well, but I couldn't get my controller to work for it.

Now, i'm trying SSF, but my games run too fast and choppy.

I've tried running the disc, and running it from an image. Same thing.

Any help with the configurations to get this working better, or perhaps recommending something else?

Ah this sucks. If I check "Auto Frame Skip" the game runs too fast, if I leave it unmarked, it runs too slow.

Is there ANY way to get Cassini to recognize your control pad?

Assuming you're using the frontend, there is an option to switch between the keyboard and a joystick under "Run Saturn Image/Configure".
