I'll delete my last posts for... avoid blocking ? (ouch, english too bad...)
Fu / 4.594.390 / Stage 1-4 / Selia

1st miss always and always on the 3rd boss when I don't have any bombs. I could have +400 000 (with rocks beside).
I dislike the midboss of 4th st.

A challenger :o !! Yes, his english name is (The) Game Paradise - Master of Shooting. Game Tengoku in Japan I think (gametngk on MAME file).

Edit : I did'nt understand the question, no the game doesn't work. Some sprites are by 2 (a bad add of emulation). But we can still play on MAME.

3rd boss and midboss of the 4th stage remain to stop dying. Excuse me if I post too much.

Final stage was too tough for me and I gave up.

I tried to score as much as possible, but your score is very, very good. I did the asteroid trick on stage 3 and the other bomb trick on stage 5. What else do you do to get so high by stage 4?

I'm happy to see that I'm not alone. I try to gain the "aubergines" at 48.050 pts everywhere. Maybe you just don't use autofire, and I find it harder.
I'll record and inp with MAME. Ah, I also use the bomb once or twice in second Stage for earn a lot of aubergines, and I must one-life to 4th stage. I found help in the strategy thread with Randorama.

I just got this PCB the other day. Great game! Although I still need a lot of work. Is there a strategy thread? The big scoring is in chaining those purple things right?

Strategy thread. Scoring with chain and ends of stage. Momoko and Pig aren't very nice.

I edit scores of Yace from shmup.com.

Thanks, yeah looks like I need to hookup my autofire circuit, and start using one of those other two players. Great work in the stat thread by rando as usual.

Time Attack mode looks really fun too, you may have to start a section for that. Time Attack scores also save across powerdowns on the pcb (but not normal scores).

Blowing up the end credits, two loops, score attack mode... this game is definitely a hidden gem!

I think for last year's STGT it wasn't accepted because emulation status was bad. I guess that's changed, so we should really suggest it for this year's hidden gem week! :)

This game's emulation's still bad. I hope that's changed, but I still haven't found a good ROM for Game tengoku...I've been looking for it for months.

So, I'm afraid nothing's changed about this game...

Oh boy, such a pity.

Just a question: is the 6th level the last of the 1st loop ? I reached this level twice, but, my ship was destroyed a few seconds later...

The 6th stage is the last of the 1st loop.

Ok, played a few rounds with the autofire circuit, and it feels like I'm cheating. Made it up to the asteroids and bombed it for some high valued squash goodness.

Seems like Selia is good for scoring, and Z-Dyne better for getting far. Next time I play this game I will give her a try - will probably be a while though untill I get back to this. :?

I think Jeynus (1st ship) is the best for scoring. I tried several runs and I didn't manage anything.
The world record (+40 millions in the 2 loops) is done with Jeynus.

Actually I was able to get nearly the same score with Momoko. I used the same charge and bombing strategies for my chains without a problem.

Jeynus is definitely for advanced players, as its the fastest ship, and has the most powerful forward firing weapon, perfect for chaining accuracy. Selia and Momko seem to be for average players. While Dyne and Pig seem either to be for beginners, or just to underpowered/useless for my chaining strategy.

For some reason, the more I play this, the more I'm reminded of Pink Sweets. This game was made for Raizing lovers.

Time Attack:
TOB - 8,858,320 - Selia - MAME

Selia is the second ship right?

I recorded a video of a 8,79m round, with 12 seconds remaining on the clock, and a lot of missed points in the first half.

Thanks, yeah it's really fun, too bad the emulation isn't so good. Might pick it up again after the stgt, would be nice to reach 10 million in timeattack.

Pyongyang - 3,176,650 - Stage ? - Z-Dyne - Saturn

Sorry, don't know what stage it was in Time Attack. If it helps it's the stage after the wave of yellow extra blocks.
