strikers 1945 II --- info needed plz-- thanks

Post by pilotwings »

I was looking to buy Strikers 1945 II for saturn but i noticed the playstation version is a lot cheaper.

Any difference between saturn/playstation? Plus is there any difference between the us/jap copy on playstation?

-thanks :)

The PS1 version is better (Saturn has slowdown and doesn't sound as good iirc). The Japanese PS1 Superlite 1500 edition of Strikers 1945 II is fairly cheap indeed.

Avoid the non-Japanese releases (PAL: 50hz only, US: no high-score saving, both: no tate iirc). And do NOT buy the PS2 Strikers pack, it doesn't have lo-res (ugly interlace).

Just to clarify, the US release of Strikers 1945 II does indeed save high scores. But you are right about it having no TATE.

PAL does have tate, but 50hz and no score saving.
