eh yup all, am new here and uh, HI

Just bought steel dragon for the ps2 recently and it seems like a lot of fun, what are your opinions of it?

also is there a capcom shmup collection being released on the ps2? or someting like that....

umm, i think maybe i was meaning gigawing generations... thats coming out for the ps2 right? will it be released in the uk? where can i find out more about it?

yea i was enjoyin the 2d a lot,

i like the way the shotpower and ship speed is linked in the 3d mode though....

As far as the "Capcom Collection" goes, all I know is that it's supposed to include all of the Generations collections that they did for PSone and Saturn, which means the following: 1942,1943,1943 kai, all the ghouls n' ghosts games, all the street fighter 2 games, mercs, commando, gunsmoke, and some others including the arcade version of Bionic Commando. I never had volume 3 so I don't know what was on that one. Should be a rad collection for sure.

if that were released on ps2 that would be great, was considering getting capcom collection 1 for the saturn, but its just easier buyin stuff for the ps2!

check out the first line of this review for layer section, that one line was enough for me to stop reading there an then.....

eight&ahalf is right about the capcom generations-its a top package! I don't think that the european release includes the Streetfighter collection(was it was 5?) but instead comprises of the collections 1-4. You can get it pretty cheap now-in fact i saw it for $25 buy- it- now on e-bay a couple of weeks ago and it had no takers!

just to clarify, the capcom generation is for the ps2? If so, is it available for the Pal PS2?

I bought soukyugurentai a while ago on ebay, but thats my one and only ebay purchase, it just seems like too much bother buying off ebay, specially all that paypal crap....

Check on e-bay using 'capcom generations'-theres about 8 auctions for it on the UK site! It was only ever released for the playstation 1. Shienryu on the playstation 1 or Shienryu Explosions are both only on import-i think!

i bought(in Aberdeen) Steel Dragon Evo just a few days ago, i wish i knew more about it lol, havnt had a chance to play it so far, and i havnt heard or seen anyting about it anywhere....

about the whole ebay thing(for some reason i get the same feeling thinking about ebay as I do when i contemplating washing dishes) am off to sort out my account and paypal account hehe

Just to clarify, the PS2 Capcom collection isn't out just yet. I'm not sure of the release date, but it's likely get a budget release in the US, of something like $30.

Hmm, on my screen it says PS2...in any case, the review on the main page IS for the PS2 game, as Shienryu Explosion is only available on PS2. I'm not sure if the first Shienryu (aka GekiOh Shooting King) ever got to Europe, but it did come to the US, so there's a pretty good chance it came there too.

heh, it says ps2 on the main page and ps1 on the review page...

the review doesnt mention anyting about the 2nd game included on the disk (theres a 3d and 2d game), maybe its not on the US version.

anyway, as far as my ebayin is goin right now, no luck at all, i havnt been able to access my email for days for some reason, i cant remember my paypal or ebay usernames... and i cant get em sent to my email cause i cant get to my email! ahhhh my head is now done in

The 3D game should be "Shienryu Explosion" (the one reviewed there), the 2D one is the original "Shienryu," which has appeared on other systems. I'm not sure if there's a review of that here on Shmups, but you could always find some on gamefaqs.
