There's dust on my copy of Raiden DX.

How would you recommend I remove the dust without scratching it? If it were a regular CD, I wouldn't have a problem of wiping it off with a cloth but I don't want to risk scratching the game. I mean, it is one of the Best 25 Shmups of All-Time, you know. Grin.

I use a very light duster and I dust very lightly, just touching the disk. I cleaned disks this way for 4 years. Never had a disc scratched this way. Use at your own precaution though ^.~

What about compressed air for the dust? As long as there aren't any smudges, it should work. Don't use the ones that come in the aerosol cans though--they tend to spray out liquid when they get too cold or if you tilt them. Use the ones that require you to change CO2 cannisters. The one I have is called "airDr Airblaster CO2" and cost about $12.

I have no dust on my copy of Raiden DX.....
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Nuke it from orbit.

Seriously though, blow the dust off. Or drag an optical cloth across (won't damage it at all). Or lightly flick it away.

that is the coolest suggestion yet.... and as long as you have an open space, it would work!!
