Monitor dies after 2 hour of play -'clicks' (vid in thread)

After about one-two hours of play, the monitor shuts off, and sounds like it is 'trying to start up' again. I need to let it cool for about 30 minutes before it'll start again.

It's a Wei-Ya in an AW SD cab.

seems like its overheating, have you checked it for burnt components or if the board feels very hot after it shuts off?

fixing chassis is no beginners-matter tho so youre proboably looking at a new one.

Well, I don't want to touch the board, since it is a chassis and all. but there's no great heat coming off of it.

They carry Wei-Ya chassis. You need to determine the exact type of chassis you have though; as there are multiple 31khz capable Wei-Ya ones.

look up markings on the screen and on the chassi, both should have sereals and/or article numbers imprinted on them somewhere.
