I'm paving the road to hell here... I've been meaning to try this out many times, but I never get myself to dedicate the couple hours or so to learn the Java implementation.
Thinking about it seriously though, I'd like to do a few little gameplay studies - little "vignettes" of shooter-type stuff. BulletML plays into one such idea. Just not sure how to integrate it with my current Sprite API.

Definately a good idea.the2bears wrote:Thinking about it seriously though, I'd like to do a few little gameplay studies - little "vignettes" of shooter-type stuff.
BulletML is great but it would be good to see it put to uses other than an excuse to fill the screen with bullets. There's a lot of generic stuff appearing atm.

I've done a bit of messing around with the Java version and different patterns. If I can ever figure out how some of the stuff in it is done, I'd be interested in trying to port it to .NET. It's a great system, but it's somewhat limited in what it can be used with in its current implementation.
