Did anyone get any of Taito Memories 2?
Both volumes have been out for some time now and I was just wondering if anyone has picked them up and what their thoughts were on them. Anyone got a list of what's on both volumes? I saw shots of each game at the official Taito site but I'm not well versed enough in Arcade knowledge to know what each game was.

I got Vol. 2 Part 1 and while the emulation of most titles is rather mediocre in terms of picture quality (and the vertical shmups are missing a TATE moed) I have to admit that DARIUS II is probably the best console version yet.
If you set the game to 8:3 instead of 4:3 and set your TV set to 16:9 you can play it in glorious widescreen without any borders. It's still a bit distorted, but it's absolutely playable and actually the very next best thing besides using MAME and a 2-monitor setup.

There's already a discussion thread here, which has the game lists for both collections, so I'm locking this one.

TATE mode is included, just play with the settings a bit.Fudoh wrote:(and the vertical shmups are missing a TATE moed)
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
