Looks really fun, I know I would have bought it!

This guy has tons of other Beta vids up as well, be sure to check them out!

What more can I say I wouldn't be here today if the old school didn't pave the way.

Interesting.

I never knew they were making/testing another Viewpoint.

Heck yeah, looks kinda like an updated Afterburner. I would have enjoyed that - now I wish I had something like that to supplement my weak N64 collection.

This almost deserves a thread of it's own seeing the large amount of Treasure-fanboys on this forum :)

Wow. As an unabashed fan of the original Sammy game, that video (while I appreciate being given the chance to see it...thank you!) just shows me how terribly lousy things can get when someone tries to re-imagine an idea. To me, that video is basically the video game equivalent of a plague-ridden corpse whose origins should never have been revealed in the first place. Dr. Frankenstein gone even *madder*. A smudge on the good name of Viewpoint. Wince-worthy stuff.

Thank heaven it never came out. If that's the way a "sequel" has to be, may one *never* be released.

good to see games that never made it running on video... not sure about either game though. didnt realise there was gonna be a 3d sequel to viewpoint, but didnt treasure scrap gunbeat purely because it wasn't up to scratch? watching that video certainly gave me a bit of motion sickness.
