ps2 import collection for sale....maybe

just bought a collection of ps2 import shooters from a local collector selling off there games...all original disks, manuals and label inserts....BUT the seller replaced the midnigt blue ps2 cases with regular dvd cases.....will this decrease the value? or should i get those original cases?

already purchased......i don't feel i got a bad deal, but basically bought them to supplement my collection and sell the extras.

Personally, as long as the discs, manuals, inserts, and what not are all in excellent condition I'd go for them. But you should try to haggle the price down since he switched out the cases.

Japanese PS2 games don't come in blue cases. The Japanese cases are black. They have a memory card holder inside, just like your domestic ones.

Japanese PS2 games don't come in blue cases
they are nearly black with a touch of blue, produced by Amaray for Sony. Compare them to a pure black american DVD case and you'll notice.

Of course they are nowhere "as blue" as the european ones, but they are not black either.
