I get to this mid boss every time, and I have no idea what to do. It says something at the beginning, but I can't read japanese. Just a bunch of mixed color boxes. I destroy all of the grey ones and then all I have left are some red and yellow ones which seem indestructable.

What am I supposed to do?

If memory serves, the gray boxes can only be destroyed with your regular shot, the red ones can only be destroyed by your Shiki attack, and the yellow ones vanish only when they fall into a horizontal line of 4 across. Basically, use your regular and shiki attacks to keep destroying the gray and red blocks respectively, and the yellows will eventually take care of themselves. Oh, and don't get shot.
