Apparently someone had to fight Doom with no remaining lives or bombs and was a second away from killing the thing.

Wow. I bet if the player wasn't Japanese (I'm assuming it is), he would have immediately gone on a screaming smashing ultra-destructo rampage. But he probably just put in another credit and started over from the beginning.

That's impressive. Tackling Doom's final spreads is something I'd been meaning to see for some time now.

the ketsui game-over-scream seems rather fitting for that peticular scenario.. :P

Rise from your grave!

I just got the INH Ketsui DVD yesterday and watched the Type-B replay today. Somehow this little YouTube video seemed a lot more impressive even though Doom was not defeated.

It's amazing that people are still finding new ways to play this game after a number of years.
