While I was using my DC, the screen went blank and it sounded like it reset. Now it won't turn on. I noticed it smelt funny, so I pulled it open, and a capacitor in the power supply exploded (it had already gone off, not when I opened it).
When I turn the DC on, the VMU beeps as normal, but there's no video output. What are the chances there's more damage to the inside of the system? I'll order a replacement power supply, but I want to know if I should be looking at a replacement motherboard as well.
EDIT: I managed to wire a PC power supply into it, it works fine. Looks like that's all I need to replace. I'll provide some pictures later.

Capacitor...related?
