I figured there would be a thread on this somewhere here but I can't find one. I'm wondering what the difference between both versions of Batsugun are.
I've noticed a few cosmetic changes in the special version like a new palette and the "pig" icon, and your ship can gain a shield of sorts (I haven't found out exactly how yet) and seems to have a slightly smaller hitbox. Can anyone confirm any of this and/or add to the list? I'd especially like to know if there are any changes to the scoring system.

I think the Batsugun ST mentions most of the differences, though they're a bit spread out.
Going from memory, comparing Normal to Special:
Some minor palette changes and such.
Latter partially loops several times.
Latter has smaller hitboxes and bigger bomb blasts.
In latter you gain a 1-hit shield when you level up your weapon (it never takes more than 1 hit, even if you still have a shield when you level up again).
In some places point-boosting "V" items have been replaced by exp-boosting pigs. "Permanent" pigs are now pink.
Some scoring tricks only work in latter.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
