Q: Rayforce Taito F3 cartridge ever released ?

Post by hd »

Hi!

I am just wondering if a Taito F3 cartridge of Rayforce was ever released. Has anybody ever seen such a cart ? I remember a guy selling such a thing somwhere in the past...

Give me your thoughts!

thx

I've always been under the assumption that all F3 games ran off rom carts so i'm thinking yes. Nothing i've searched seems to say otherwise, except for the fact that i can't find a visual on the Rayforce, Layer Section, or Gunlock cart itself. I would imagine it would be pretty rare though.

I have a CD copy of Layer Section/Rayforce/Gunlock actualy. Got it for free too =D. It's an actual copy I got years back.
It'd be cool if you found a cart though. According to this wiki, it was released under the title "Gunlock". So yes, it does exist.

You can find it under the titles list.

Recalhorn and Command War is also on that list, and I'm pretty sure they were never released.

CD copy? A rom burnt onto a CD-R? :)

One that was printed from the company, it's an original. And I don't know whether or not all those titles were released. Since I saw it on there I thought it was released. Maybe some of them were JP only? I'm not really an expert on tracking down old games
