Re: Does anyone have ANY pcb knowledge?
I take it you were the one who asked about Truxton/Tatsujin Ou (just FYI, Tatsujin Ou is Truxton II). Well, it looks like you are getting an Egret and a computer in the deal, which seems pretty nice, although you want to ask about what the emulator's specs are. It looks like voltage for Australia is taken care of, and I would guess that JAMMA's standardized voltages mean that you can plug and play most any JAMMA board without worries (unless it requires an additional power supply or something).
Far as I know Toaplan's games didn't break JAMMA standards.

Your seller is full of shit then, unless he is sending you 427 PCB's along with the Egret cab. There must be a PC or something in there doing the emulation for the 427 'games' that come with the cab.Shotgunfacelift wrote:The seller has just told me that its a jamma machine,, not pc or any emulator crap.... so will tatsujin work on it?Ed Oscuro wrote:I take it you were the one who asked about Truxton/Tatsujin Ou (just FYI, Tatsujin Ou is Truxton II). Thanks for the 411, eggplant :)
Actually, I'm not surprised since JAMMA only came about in 1985, so Tiger Heli naturally wouldn't be. The other games are also early (both 1986) so that's not a huge surprise.
Anyway, I'm surprised the seller didn't mention that there's a PC in there...those aren't terribly cheap after all. Oh well, too late now.

It's one of those illegal-really multigame jamma boxes. They are little more than a PC in a plastic case loaded with an emulator, roms and a menu. It's on the same level as bootleg PCBs.
System11's random blog, with things - and stuff!
