Question about converting saturn controllers to ps2

Post by Cyarc »

I have been playing shooters without a arcade stick and I really want one to get one. I found a Sega Saturn Virtua Stick for cheap and I was wondering if I got this converter, could I use it on my ps2 as well as my pc. I know that it will work for the pc but since the ps2 has a usb port, could you plug it into the ps2 and use it for that as well? http://store.videogamecentral.com/3in1pcjoybox.html
If that dosnt work, do you know of any saturn to ps2 converters?
Thanks!
What are you trying to tell me, that I can dodge bullets?

Nope, PS2 has no support for USB HID. You'll probably want one of those for PC use anyway. My own quick search didn't find anything for saturn->ps2... I would suggest either hacking your stick into a PS2 stick, or just getting a dedicated one, as PS2 can be converted to just about anything.

On a side note, I'm after a PS2 or DC -> saturn converter, but it seems that nobody has any stock... can anybody point me to one?

Suggest hacking it to a DB-15, and from there you can plug it into hacked 1st-party pads for almost anything.
