As you all know Capcom CPS2-Boards come in different colours.
Now, my Dimahoo-Board is strange:

- A-Board has GREEN buttons, japanese menu
- B-Board is BLUE but has a JAPANESE Sticker on it, the game itself is also japanese (~Great Mahou Dasakusen )!

1.) What the hell?!

2.) What would be a fair price foir this baby, since I want to sell it?
A+B-Board, no extra items.

The Board is 100% original, in very good condition. I bought it around 1-2 years ago from a guy who got it brandnew (as he said...) from japan.

I paid only $60 for A+B JPN region GMD, with all original paperworks. It was a very good deal though, and insured shipping was $50-$60 on top. $100-150 is a normal price in US hobbyist market.

Since your B board is funky, I think the buyer is more suspect of this and the interest may go down. It's an estimate, $80. Then again...maybe some CPS-II collector would pay more for the oddity of it. It's a tough call.

My Great Mahou has blue buttons on the A board and has the green Japan sticker on it. Shouldn't the buttons normally be green also? Maybe late in the CPS2's life they just started using up surplus parts without paying attention to detail.

Could it be a japanese A board? I thought the Japenese menu came from the B board, rather than the A board

The a board is totally normal (japanese).
The "groovy" aspect is a blue b board running without probs.

I've got to admit I'm confused here. Blue and Green CPS-2 boards are compatible with each other, so I don't understand what is supposed to be unusual with your setup.

The game runs with JAPANESE language and has a JAPANESE sticker, but has a BLUE case.

There is nothing (!) special about the A-board.

I've got a Japanese Great Mahou Daisakusen in a blue case as well.

Took me a bit by surprise when I first opened the package.

I have a puzz looop 2 all original but is JPN and came in a blue case also...
