Mutant Storm Empire - XB live.

Looks like a shmup to me. Reminds me of a top down, high res viewpoint.

Control looks a bit tricky but I'm sure it will win a few buys from this site.

Looks really nice. :)

Too bad I don't own an X-Box, I'd be pretty interested to try this one out.
How much do you pay for X-Box live Arcade games, BTW?

It costs 800 points, I have no idea how much that is in real money because I don't own the system.

800 points = around 10 US dollars.

NEED this.

There is another video over at IGN, though it is slightly less exciting and has no sound.

Mutant storm on the PC was a lot of fun, and the 360 version added a lot of polish and fixed a few annoyances. Empire looks like it will be awesome when it eventually comes out.

2 player coop is one of the things that makes Mutant Storm overall a lot more fun than Geometry Wars, so I hope it makes a return in this sequel.

Space Tripper was Damned good too, by the way. Anyone who hasn't already checked ST and MS out should head over to the Pom-Pom website.

oddly there is no mention of their 360 projects.

Really? It doesn't remind you of Smash T.V.?

Nero, here's a video of Smash TV (SNES port) in action:

And don't get impressed or anything, this guy only does tool assisted replays, so there's no skill involved.
