gunny is! :D

I will take out DDP:DOJ, place it lovingly in its DVD case, assuring her that I will still pop her into the PS2 drive every weekend, pop in GWG and giggle with glee as I play a Gigawing game in true vertical mode and not hori-vert. :P

Both.

Anyone importing this?
Anyone else scared that there is no mention of tate? The two modes mentioned,"Original" and "Arcade", are both shown in horizontal with side bars.

I'll probably eventually import it. Not a Giga Wing fan myself so it'll be awhile.

The official page doesn't mention any form of TATE either. Would be weird to not have it but then again, it'd also be weird to play Giga Wing vertically for the first time.

I have it pre-ordered.

There's an older thread somewhere where the possible lack of tate was discussed. Few more weeks and we'll be able to confirm it ourselves.

the lack of tate would be kind of a downer, although this is Taito we're talking about here. Most of the verts they've distributed (Shikigami No Shiro, XIISTAG, etc) had tate options.

As long as it has a proper zoomed out vert mode for people with big TVs, I'm happy.

I'm also importing it.

I am waiting until reviews come out. The arcade version has a lot of slowdown and jerky control. If they haven't fixed these problems, I'll pass.

But, I am excited by Psikyo Collection 3 with Dragon Blaze.

I am not really a big fan of GW, but I figured what the hell and pre-ordered it. GW has always been too over the top for me, but maybe the 3rd time is a charm for me.

I like Giga Wing games a lot, however I don't have a PS2, so I'm hoping it will get ports for other consoles.

It's still sad that the photos don't show the FPS problem of GWG. :(
